The final text of EU Digital Markets Act was approved this summer and the Commission is now pursuing to regulate the Internet of Things with the proposed Data Act. The two legal systems are presented and discussed by two competition lawyers, Professor Juan Ignacio Ignacio Ruiz Peris and Associate Professor Björn Lundqvist, and a leading media and communication researcher Associate Professor Jonas Andersson Schwarz.
